here i am, sipping my root beer, after a series of misfortunate events. =x mm, not sure whether to be happy or what, seriuously. kayy kayy, start from the morning...
10 plus, i met up with min at limbang mac to eat breakfast. then, dont know why, min cant get the connection that we ARE supposed to get in Mac's right? cause of the wireless connection that they provide. soo anyways. yeah, after having my big breakfast and she her hotcakes, we decided to go bukit merah library, AGAIN, to study. soo we crossed the road and waited for a cab. accidentally my footing slipped on a rock and my slipper kinda broke at the middle. - 1st bad stuff that happened. KAYY, I KNOW YOU ARE LAUGHING RIGHT NOW. go on, LAUGH. =X humph. soo yeah, i comteplated on whether to get a new pair of slippers or just buy super glue and stick it back. i decided on the latter. soo when min finally got my super glue from basicpoint and we glued back my slipper holding, we are just about to step out into the streets to hail a cab when PLAH, heavy rain poured down. -2nd bad stuff. yeah, it sounded soo, in a movie thing, but seriously, it happened. TO ME. =X soo. instead of looking at the rain pour and waste time, we on min's daddy's laptop and listen to a song called Riverdance played by a symphonic band. nope, not crashes of the laptop or what-so-ever. after listening to that piece, we decided to brave the receeding rain and went back out on the streets to catch a cab. -now here's the 3rd unlucky stuff that happened. either the cabs were taken, or. they refused us. =x heyy, at this point of time, if you're not even sympatizing me, you not my friend lorh. -humph. soo yeah. finally, and i really mean FINALLY, we got on a cab, and we're all commenting on how unlucky we were.. then i was saying, "heyy, at least when bad things happen, they happen in threes, and now we have all threes, good luck will come soon." kayy, at this crucial point, min have to add, "what if they come in thirteen? i mean, thirteen's an unlucky no." well, being quite "xie men", bad luck continued to come. ugh.
we got down at bukit merah in one piece, safely, and wanted to see if there's any shoe shops that i can get new slippers. kayy, 4th unlucky thing. no shoe shops. yeah yeah, beginning to believe that i'm really unlucky today right? =( wait a moment, i go refill my root beer..
ookay, back! ^^ erm, then we went on to the library, which we managed to find back our seats from yesterday, and i started to read my book. at the mean time worrying that those guys from yesterday might appear AGAIN. =\ at 'bout 2 i think, we were hungry and went to the market there to eat again. this time, the bak kut teh shop is CLOSED! awh shucks. -5th bad stuff. soo, have to make do with mee hoon kueh ( you know what that is right? ). went back to the library. and poof, study time. finished up my geog - river and coasts. xD i'm a happy girl. while i'm studying, min on the com and we played 2 players de pinball. ahh shucks, this reminded me that she has more high scores than me. =( kayy, when we decided it was almost time to go and i went to grab some books before the threathening clouds fall as water droplets called rain, PLAH. rain falls. AGAIN. now there, what have i done to deserve this?! great, and now we're trapped in the library. soo min wanted to go to the place that look like the ngee ann poly that bus stop that place (see yesterday's entry), while i suggested to try to get a cab home, as i'm really sick of today. =x we waved like mad under the shelter, but i guess no cab drivers saw bahh.. soo. we ran in the rain and got to the place that look like ngee ann poly bus stop, which is called 116A. it was really fun running in the rain. xD and i got quite wet. and i was wearing shorts. not sure whether that's better than jeans. =\ and thank my remaining lucky stars that i'm wearing black. haha! =P took some pics to prove that it's really raining.
